My Last Session Before Maternity Leave

My last session before maternity leave was on August 7th, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a more meaningful way to wrap up this season.

It was a family and nursing session for a mama who has walked through three losses. As a fellow rainbow mama, this one hit deep. Watching her nurse her baby.. her miracle.. while I stood there 39 weeks pregnant with my own rainbow baby… there aren’t really words for that kind of connection. It was emotional, powerful, and so full of gratitude for the babies we hold and the ones we carry in our hearts.

Ending my season with her felt exactly right. A full-circle reminder of why I do this, to freeze the love, the resilience, and the everyday magic that tells our stories. See you on the other side of maternity leave.
