Summer Bump to Baby

I’ve had the honor of photographing the Matasker family from bump to baby. First their maternity session, then welcoming me into their home for their newborn session. It’s always special to document that full circle, but this one hit a little deeper. Her baby boy and my daughter were born just ten days apart. We were both walking through the same season, figuring it all out, running on little sleep, and soaking in every bit of it. To photograph her family while living that same chapter myself felt extra meaningful. Seeing them go from expecting to holding their little one made me so grateful for this work. It’s the kind of session that sticks with you.. quiet, cozy, full of love, and real life unfolding right in front of me. I’ll always feel connected to this family.
